Brew up coffee with your preferred method.
Whip up the cream: While the coffee is brewing lightly whip up some of the heavy cream with a whisk for a couple minutes. We don’t want it to be fully whipped, just slightly thicker than unwhipped cream.
Assemble the drink: Start by pouring the ¾ cup of the coffee into a mug. Then add the whiskey, and the brown sugar. Stir this for 30 seconds until the sugar has dissolved into the liquid. Finally carefully spoon some of the lightly whipped cream on top, until the mug is filled.
Optional: Grate some of the nutmeg over the top.
