Grilled peaches are a simple and delicious treat that’s the perfect addition to your summer cookouts. All you need is a few simple ingredients, and a hot grill to make this fantastic side dish.
Tips, Tricks & Suggestions
- Peaches that are just right: While you might be tempted to use the ripest peaches you can get your hands on for this recipe I recommend that you don’t. Because In my experience if the peaches are too ripe and soft it will be nearly impossible to halve and pit them without smushing them to pieces. Trust me I’ve ruined plenty of overripe peaches trying to halve and pit them. Plus the act of grilling the peaches will make them nice, tender, and sweet anyways. So please save those super ripe peaches for eating raw.
- Pitting peaches: If you’ve never halved and pitted a peach before then I recommend you check out this post on how to do it from Fine cooking.
- How should you serve these grilled peaches?: Well, my two favorite options are to either serve them as a side with grilled pork chops. Or serve them as a dessert with a scoop of ice cream, and some crushed nuts overtop. That being said feel free to serve them any way that you want.

Grilled Peaches Recipes
Prep time: 1 hour (mainly to marinate the peaches)
Cook time: 8 minutes
Servings: 2 to 4
Ingredients
2 to 4 Peaches, halved and pitted
½ Cup of brown sugar
¼ Cup of brandy
¼ Cup of water
1 Teaspoon of cinnamon
½ Teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions
- Make the marinade: Get out a mixing bowl and add the brown sugar, brandy, water, cinnamon, and vanilla extract to it. Use either a fork or a whisk to combine these ingredients until the sugar has dissolved. Set this aside.
- Marinate the peaches: Get out a flat walled dish (like a casserole dish or pie pan) and place each peach half into it. Pour the marinade over the peaches and let them sit in your fridge for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours. Then flip each peach over and let them marinate for an additional 30 minutes to 2 hours. 1 hour total will be enough, but marinating them for longer will give them more flavor, so if you got the time, do it!
- Take the marinated peaches out of your fridge and preheat your grill to high.
- Grill the peaches: Place each peach half on your hot grill cut side down. Let them cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until they have grill marks. Then flip each peach over and let them cook for an additional 3 to 5 minutes or until they feel nice and tender.
- Serve your grilled peaches immediately and enjoy!
