Tartar Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • ½ Cup of mayonnaise
  • 2 Tablespoons of dill pickles finely diced
  • 1 to 2 Tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 1 Tablespoon of capers finely chopped
  • 1 Teaspoon of dried dill weed
  • ½ Teaspoon of dijon mustard
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Make the sauce: Mix together the mayonnaise, dill pickles, capers, dill weed, mustard, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice in a bowl. If you prefer your sauce to be a little thinner then add in an additional tablespoon of lemon juice and mix it in. Add some salt and pepper to taste.
  • Let the sauce sit in your fridge for at least 30 minutes, the longer the better.
  • Use the tartar sauce with seafood and enjoy!
