Pumpkin Bread Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1⅔ Cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 Cup of Canned pumpkin
  • 1⅓ Cup of sugar
  • ½ Cup of chopped walnuts
  • Cup of butter softened
  • Cup of water
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 Teaspoon of baking soda
  • ¾ Teaspoon of salt
  • ½ Teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • ¼ Teaspoon of baking powder

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla: Use either a stand mixer or hand mixer to cream together the butter sugar and vanilla extract.
  • Add the eggs, pumpkin, and water to the creamed ingredients and mix it all together to form our wet ingredients.
  • Finish making the dough: Get out a large bowl and mix together the flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and pumpkin spice. Add this to the wet ingredients and mix everything together to make our dough. Finally, toss in the chopped walnuts and fold them into the dough.
  • Grease a 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pan and pour the dough into it. Then use a spatula to smooth out the top of the dough.
  • Bake the pumpkin bread: Place the pan in your oven and let it bake for 50 minutes to an hour. You will know it is done when you stick a toothpick into the bread and it comes out clean.
  • Let the pumpkin bread rest for 10 minutes before removing from the pan.
  • Slice up the bread for a quick breakfast or an easy dessert & enjoy!
