Mango Lassi Recipe

Ingredients

  • Cups of diced fresh mango
  • 1 Cup of yogurt
  • ½ Cup of cold milk or cold water or more depending on desired consistency
  • 2 Teaspoons of granulated sugar or more to taste
  • A pinch of ground cinnamon optional
  • A pinch of ground cardamom optional

Optional garnish:

  • Crushed pistachio nuts
  • Saffron threads

Instructions

  • Blend the ingredients: Add the diced mango, milk/water, sugar, and spices to a blender and plus a couple of times until the mangos form a puree. Next, add the yogurt to the blender, and blend on high for a minute or until everything is incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
  • Adjust consistency and sweetness (optional): If you prefer a thinner consistency with your lassi then add in a little more cold milk/water and blend until incorporated. Taste the lassi and blend in more sugar if you prefer a sweeter lassi.
  • Pour the mango lassi into individual glasses and serve immediately, enjoy.
