Blue Cheese Dressing Recipe

Total Time2 minutes
Servings: 2 cups

Ingredients

  • ½ Cup of mayonnaise
  • ½ Cup of sour cream
  • ½ to ¾ Cup of buttermilk*
  • ¼ Teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ Teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1 to 1 ½ Tablespoon of fresh chives minced
  • ½ Teaspoon of black pepper
  • 2 to 3 Ounces of blue cheese crumbled

Instructions

  • Prepare the base: Get out a medium-sized bowl and add the ½ cup of mayonnaise and ½ cup of sour cream to it. Then add in a ½ cup of the buttermilk and stir all of the ingredients together. If it is the consistency that you want then move to the next step, however, if it is too thick you might want to add in another ¼ cup of buttermilk.
  • Finish the blue cheese dressing by adding in the remaining ingredients to the bowl and stirring them all together. Then place the dressing into a container.
  • Let the dressing sit in your fridge for a couple of hours before pouring on your salad or for using it as a dip.

Notes

***The amount of buttermilk you add will depend on how thick or thin you prefer your dressing.
