Ingredients

  • 1 to 1½ Lb of salmon cut into 4 individual portions
  • 3 Tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • Juice from 1 large lemon
  • 3 Cloves of garlic minced
  • ½ Teaspoon of dried oregano
  • ½ Teaspoon of red pepper flakes optional
  • ½ Teaspoon of salt & black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375℉/191℃.
  • Make the basting sauce: Add the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Use a fork or whisk to stir these ingredients together until everything is thoroughly combined.
  • Prep the salmon for baking: Wait until your oven is hot then line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the salmon portion on top of this making sure that they aren’t touching each other. Then pour or brush half of the basting liquid over each portion of salmon and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Bake the salmon: Place the baking sheet in your hot oven and let the salmon bake for 8 minutes. Then take the salmon out of the oven and pour/brush the remaining basting liquid over each portion. Return the salmon back to your oven and let them bake for another 8 minutes.
  • Take the greek salmon out of your oven, serve on individual plates, and enjoy!
